DAVIE· The "crazy hours" that Dolphins cornerback Travis Daniels said he has spent rehabilitating a sprained right ankle are finally paying dividends.

For the first time since early in the preseason, Daniels practiced Wednesday without being limited in any drills. While officially listed on the team's injury report as questionable, Daniels is expected to make his 2006 debut Sunday against visiting Tennessee.

"There's a good chance I could play this week," Daniels said. "It's been real tough. Anytime you're hurt and you can't practice or play, of course it's devastating to you. I'm just trying to stay positive."

Daniels said he has spent an extensive amount of time rehabilitating his ankle and meeting with specialists since getting injured during a training camp practice. Daniels said it was common during the preseason for him to leave the facility at 10:30 p.m. and return the next day at 6:30 a.m. for more treatment. The early-morning sessions continued once the Dolphins broke camp and switched to their in-season schedule.

i'd like to think we will be able to handle the titans with out him. that said, i'd feel better about him taking another week just to get that ankle 100% for sure and not risk aggrivating it in the tennessee game and missing another couple of weeks or more.

I'm with ya. If he shows up, you know the Titans oc is going to test him, I guess the thing to know would be will one more week make it any better... having dealt with a bad ankle I have to think it would be the sensible thing to do. He is also going to have some "speed" adjustments to make...he hasn't played in a game for a long time and there will be some rust...so knocking some off this week in limited play might be the plan... we'll see.

Against the Bills.....the secondary did not play all that bad except at the end of the game when all was pretty much lost.......I agree...TRAVIS!!!!!

Good news, maybe he'll just play a few downs in certain situations.

I hope he's 100 % if he plays. I'd rather not have him back if he's not fully recovered. They seem pretty optimisitc so that's a good sign. We def need this guy back on our defense.

if he is ready get him in there. i dont care who we are playing we need him on the field. we can not take a team for granted. if a player is ready play him. lets get a damn win!
