DAVIE· The "crazy hours" that Dolphins cornerback Travis Daniels said he has spent rehabilitating a sprained right ankle are finally paying dividends.
For the first time since early in the preseason, Daniels practiced Wednesday without being limited in any drills. While officially listed on the team's injury report as questionable, Daniels is expected to make his 2006 debut Sunday against visiting Tennessee.
"There's a good chance I could play this week," Daniels said. "It's been real tough. Anytime you're hurt and you can't practice or play, of course it's devastating to you. I'm just trying to stay positive."
Daniels said he has spent an extensive amount of time rehabilitating his ankle and meeting with specialists since getting injured during a training camp practice. Daniels said it was common during the preseason for him to leave the facility at 10:30 p.m. and return the next day at 6:30 a.m. for more treatment. The early-morning sessions continued once the Dolphins broke camp and switched to their in-season schedule.
