Both our QB's SUCK!!

Face it people, we have no QB PERIOD! Feeley has yet to impress me as to be a starter.... his playing Sat. totally reminded me of Fiedler. And Fiedler well he did what he does best and choke under the media scrutiny. I think we are as we are until we get a QB that will be worthy. Feeley is the future is crap, 99% of solid QB's come out solid on day 1 and stay that way... the make themselves look so good that a bad game doesn't even allow for criticism or at least mild criticism that talks of respect and a bad day. What makes me upset is for umpteen years they relied on Marino's arm, since he has retired the QB position is terrible and nobody is putting effort in to make it great. Why? I guess after 18 years of not even thinking about your QB position future your brain is stuck like that.... Well it's time they untsuck... Now they are going to ignore the QB position for many years because we have some O and great D. Or just maybe we need to revamp the whole office!! :roflmao:  I don't know what to think!

Let's revamp the whole office. I want a new desk and a new stapler. A swingline.

Of course it's hard to live up to Marino. The difference between Danny and the QB's we have now is that where not asking the QB's we have now to win games with their arms, where asking them to do just enough to win the game and also not to lose the game.

99%, really? . . .

1st Starts:

Plummer 21/40 56% 195yds 2TD 4INT

Hasselback 20/34 59% 178yds 0TD 2INT

Maddox 11/13 85% 122yds 1TD 1INT

*Delhome 12/20 60% 122yds 3TD 2INT
------------------------------------------
TOTAL: 64/107 60% 517yds 6TD 9INT QBR: 55.7

Feeley (in one half of play): 21/31 68% 1TD 1INT QBR: 78.43

*w/ Carolina, had two starts w/ New Orleans and went over both games:
42/77, 522yds, 3TD/5INT

You had to know someone would call you on that statement. Great QB's take time to become great QB's. As do solid ones. Rare is the QB who plays like Marino in his first game. Heck even the QB of the moment (Brady) struggled early on. Remember when we owned him his first time against us (12/26, 86yds, 0TD, 0INT)? Now look at him, Joe Montana-lite.

Does this mean Feeley is the answer, hell no! It just mean be patient because we dont know what will happen with him behind center.

When we do, after a few games at least, then feel free to start the :yell: .

Because really, who judges a QB before he starts and plays a full game?

So until then . . .

I said SOLID not GREAT!

Feeley has shown his best already! He's gonna be another Fiedler IMO, Don't get me wrong I hope he shuts me up and proves me wrong! But it's unlikely:shakeno:

wOw!!! He's shown his best already, and you've seen him play what........ a whole 30 minutes of any kind of meaningfull football??? I don't understand how people put players, or the team down BEFORE they even get a chance to see what they can do

My bad man, there you go, I edited. Unfortunately one mans solid QB is another's bench warmer.

Even without the edit, if the great ones struggle early, well then . . . AJ, struggle like hell!

Seriously though, I'm glad you at least hope AJ proves you wrong, we all of course would like to see this team turn it around. But lets let them play a game with a week of practice together behind them before we pass ultimate judgement.

As for already has shown "his best"? That's crazier than your 99% statement. :shakeno:

you said that all of the great qbs start of at least solid in their first starts..well what about john elway...he wasnt impressive when he came out of college, in fact he was benched for steve deberg until deberg got injured.

brett favre wasnt very impressive with atlanta all he did was throw 2 ints in his stay there

terry bradshaw looked like an idiot the first time he stepped onto the field and he ended up winning some superbowls

im not saying that feeley is going to be like any of these guys but you cant judge someones career by there first start. i do think that feeley has the potential and arm strength to be the starter for miami in the long term but like we will have to be for the entire season with this team we just have to be patient.

Um how do u know he has showed his best after 4 months in a grand new system? Really u open urself up to criticism for statments like that. Why dont we let him start a game before we call him a bust, because he is not MARINO :shakeno:

Didn't Manning's Colts go 3-13 his first year? Even almighty Marino threw int's dude. Feeley is out of sync with the o. New rb that probably shouldn't have played more that 6 plays in the whole game. Booker's still got honey flavored cashews in his pocket from the plane ride out of Chicago.

Flat out, Feeley was making awesome passes. I haven't seen such consistant on the mark bullet passes since #13.

Ah, dude, he hasn't started yet. At least wait til Monday before slamming him as a starter.

There weren't many other then McNabb that had great days. Almost everyone threw a pick.

Wtf?

When has he had a chance to show you his best...the second half Sat.? If you make a post, at least make one that shows you know more about football than Sally Jesse Raphael.
