Ive noticed that as well...I dont boo good plays and cheer bad ones, but I just use the futility as a bright side. Some fans though are actively rooting for Luck to not come out or to spurn us or whatever. I saw one poster say they would "LMAO" if it happened.
 
I don't care about all this semantic garbage. Personally, I just want to wake up in April and read that the Dolphins have selected Andrew Luck in the 2012 NFL draft.

Yes we need a new franchise QB and a new regime... Is Luck that guy... Maybe, maybe not... Please don't put words in my mouth about 6-10 etc and being blind to the state of this team... I do not think that this seasson or the direction of the franchise is acceptable... It does not change the fact that you play to win and not with the goal of SFL... If at the end of the season you are in the postion to draft high you take the best player available and that would be Luck...

Look at what Harbaugh has done with the niners, who have been 7-9,8-8 team for the last few years and a number one QB who has been considered a bust, they are playing very well... I bring this up because it shows how the correct coach and correct winning philosophy mean more in this league than anything else. Look at New England another great example of system being more important that the QB. They barely missed a beat when Brady went down and then made Cassall look like a quality QB.

What do you mean put words in your mouth? You want us to win as many games as possible. You didnt specifically say "6-10", but thats essentially what youre rooting for at this point if really wan to totally max out our wins. The players play to win, but Im not gonna tell myself its a horrible thing when we lose this year. I welcome it.
 
I would love to have Luck, but it's a pathetic move (I can't use the words I want to describe) to tank a season. There's a reason most of these suck for Luck people talk about sports more than they play them. You don't want to be "that guy" on the team, trust me.

If I were playing for the Fins, I would never tank. As a fan though, I honestly dont mind when they lose this year. Totally different mindsets.

Winning THIS season would do what in the GRAND scheme of things?

Make you feel happy?

Cause it hurts the TEAM going forward.

If the Lions finished 7-9 all those years past, no way in hell their team would be any good now.

I'm sorry you need wins now to make you feel good. We want solid winning for a decade. And a franchise QB and a coach does that.

I disagree with you about the Lions assesment... There were so bad so long not because of the regime that was running them... A lot like us... They had some of the worst drafts in modern history... You should not have so many top five picks and not be able to begin rebuilding a team. Millen had a love affair with drafting receivers with his top picks and missed on them big time. I am pretty sure that most of his picks dont even play in the league anymore. When they finally got rid of him that franchise finally started to turn around.

We need the regime change first and Luck will most likely plays into the plans... A lot of you SFL guys don't realise that I do not agree with rooting to lose but that does not meen that I don't agree with drafting Luck if we are in the position to do so...
 
I've suffered with this franchise since I was 10, so Karlos Dansby can pretty much kiss my ****in' ***. And I'm one of the few fans who IS turning up this week and I live 1,500 miles away. But make no mistake- this is a must lose game if we want Luck. And I want Luck. I won't be told I'm a bad fan for that, and anyone who tells me I'm a bad fan for that can also kiss my ****in' ***. It's that simple.
 
I've been a fan of this team longer than Dansby has been apart of this teams. In other words, eff you Karlos!
