Also Culpper was taken #11 overall. in 1999 i believe our pick was #24 which we traded down with Sanfran to #27 Than Down Again with Detroit to #39 in the second round where we drafted J.J. Johnson. So i don't think we ever had that pick.

No this is not school, but it is very important to use a language correctly. If you know only one language (I'm not saying English is your only language of use), you should use it well. Correct spelling is a key part of language.

Answer is...

I was wrong... I was reviewing the draft for that year and saw we didn't have a first round but picked at roughly the same spot in the 2nd and 3rd rounds, and assumed Minnesota had aquired the pick from us. That was incorrect. that was one of Jimmy's wheeling and dealing drafts when he was trading constantly. And note... I didn't ask the question because I knew the answer, I asked because I thought someone could help me figure it out... Which has happened. Thanks for the help, sorry to waste your time. Not really sorry about the spelling errors, though.
