I knew it was obvious why Evans was let go...because he was a Rob Konrad minus the catching ability.

Barnes looked like a friggin TANK. I love how he blocked and played with heart. Unfortunately the coaching staff needs to learn how to mask our plays better, it was no shocker when he was in it was a run 90% of the time!

Regardless, here's props to you Barnes.

I agree...he was killing people.

We need to line him up at fullback, have one of our runners behind him and hammer it in there 35-40 times a game...plain and simple.

Enough of the trickery CRAP...slam it in there over and over again.

If Linehan was commited to the run today we win going away.

Definitely found a keeper at FB. The guy played great.

what a shame.

i must agree here.... he looked like a player who wanted an NFL job, for sure...

it's doubtful he offers much else, and another reason why the fullback position sure seems to be dying out in the NFL... what ever happened to guys like Tom Rathman? Who was the last good full back as a runner AND blocker?

Ricky played well, but does anyone else notice that him and Ronnie go back and forth in series. RW plays one, then next is Ronnie, then RW, etc. That sounds all well and good, but I don't think that is the smartest thing to do.

If Ronnie was used as the primary, and Barnes was his lead FB, Ronnie would have racked up 150 today probably!!

No way Ronnie gets 150...Linehan won't commit to that.

BTW...Ricky averaged 5.2 YPC and Ronnie averaged 5.6 YPC...the way we are doing it is working we just ARE NOT running the ball enough.

One of the few positives out of the game today was definitely Barnes, That is exactly what these guys need is someone that will hammer through the hole and blow backers up. The other positives were Ronnie (of course) and Channing Crowder.

It was more of Ronnie gets 2 series than Ricky gets 1 then a combo 1.

whatever  For crissakes that was like a kindergartener's post. Did your ego really feel the need to post that.

I know what I have been seeing, it's been back and forth for 95% of the time.

Barnes was fantastic. Loved the attitude.

Ronnie was stellar.. again (minus a few drops)

Ricky was good as well.

Channing and Travis were also very solid contributors. The draft class is shaping up. I even noticed Matt Roth more then usual.. mostly vs. the run though- where his pass rush?

umm you guys cleraly are blind. RW would play one series then RB woudl come in for about 2 plays then they woudl swtich again. it was nevre in and out in and out. the hell were u guys watchign? a couple series u didnt even see RB.
