ywhy isnt the phins signing ant of these players they would make our defense alot stronger we need help at safety n corner 2

Briggs is a LB and we would have to give up a first or second round pick for him.

Samuel is a corner obviously but it would take a lot for New England to trade him within the division.

Darius was just released yesterday....relax.

Wilson: Not even sure which Wilson you mean? Adrian Wilson the safety? He isn't available I don't think. Al Wilson the linebacker? I thought someone already signed him....if not there is good reason.

Briggs doesn't fit this defense.

Samuel is off limits.

Darius, IMO, is declining and wouldn't help us much. Too much like what we already have, but older and slower.

Which Wilson are you talking about? Are you talking about my boy Geno from the Pats? (Sorry guys, I know he is a Patriot but we go way back.)

Briggs and Samuel are way too expensive and would cost us 1st round picks. Darius would be a solid pick up but he was just released. Which Wilson?

None of the players you listed are a fit for us either due to age or cost. Why overspend to get people that don't fit the system?

Regardless if we get him or not I think the best pick up for us and what we want to try to accomplish from the list is DD...We are deepest at LB so Briggs/Wilson are out...Samuel is too expensive so that leaves Darius...He could serve as a the stop gap hard hitting Sammy Knight, Lance Shulters types with veteran experience

I don't really see us pursuing DD that fiercely - while he is a hard hitter, our biggest issues aren't related to laying the wood on folks (we've got plenty of big hitters) it's our coverage and pass defense that needs help. DD just can't keep up in those departments as well as he used to anymore. He may still be very interested in coming in though, and I doubt we say no before we see what he's got (left). Who knows, he might come out in pads and blow everyone away. I wouldn't bet the farm on it though.

We don't need a stop gap at strong safety. Besides, Darius is still rehabbing.

Darius told Channel 4 he was busy rehabbing his injured leg when he was pulled aside at training camp and told he was being let go.

"I had no idea. You know, I'd been rehabbing and doing everything I needed to do to prepare for training camp. To go out there and prepare myself for another season, so I had no idea -- none at all," Darius said.

Coach Jack Del Rio's explanation of Darius' release was not very detailed as he said the team simply decided that it was time to move on.

I dont think we'll be persuing anyone includng DD fiercly either, barring injury of course. althoug if we did sign him I would not be disappointed
