Right because at the time 3-4 OLB was a need. With Joey Porter coming off of a 17.5 sack season, Matt Roth, and Cam Wake waiting in the wings; not to mention the fact we signed Jason Taylor later on. 3-4 OLB was a position of strength at the time, and CB was a huge need. It's so easy to look back in hindsight at something, and forget the state of the franchise at the time as most people do. At this time CB was a huge need. Goodman becoming a FA, and Will Allen only had one year left on his deal.
