Darlington kind of suggesting were in a rebuilding mode

The doom and gloom on here is getting ridiculous.  Don't think you guys are understanding how Marshall trade is addition by subtraction.  There is a great post on another Phins site that looks at this statistically.  No, I'm not saying we'll be fine with Hartline as our #1, but we will draft a WR and probably sign Manningham or Robinson.  We are better off without Marshall, and it pains me to say that as I was a huge fan.

Well if this is true the Miami Dolphins are going to need to rebuild their ticket sales stragety as i am cancelling mine. Ive had it.

And why would we keep the guy responsible for picking the players that translate into not winning? I don't know, but we did, so there is no logic to your statement.

Why are you asking me why we kept Jeff? Do I look like I am the owner? Sounds like someone is a bit bitter that we traded Brandon Marshall..

If you think Manningham or Robinson will give us BM production, I'd like to hear how. Both were #3 Wrs on their teams, and will be coming in as #1 wr here. We haven't had a threat at WR in decades, but now getting rid of a guy that is constantly double teamed will help our offense. I also love that we are adding getting rid of our probowl WR for basically nothing, while not even bringing in the top FAs at the position to try to fill the void.

You think Manningham Hartline and Bess are scary? Laughable.

This is completely false. This team is BAD. It will take a LOT more than a couple pieces to compete. Our secondary is much worse than people want to admit, our D-line will be short Soliai, we have no #1 WR, and depsite investing a multitude of picks/FA money into our o-line, it is bad as well. This team is NOT a few pieces away, stop drinking the Ireland/Ross kool-aid.

Miami was in alot of close games last year...Does that translate into wins this year? No, not at all..I hope our new coach can turn things around... We def need a qb that can take us to the promise land.

Under the current regine of Fuer Ireland we will never get rebuilt!

If Ireland was not a retard we would sign Mario Williams and draft Michael Floyd and we would be competitive in the division.

How many years does it take to freakin re-build? 6 years??? cause the first 3 years have gone down the toilet and now it seems were' starting over again

We traded a headcase prima donna WR. How does that constitute rebuilding a franchise?

I do not believe you can fairly judge these moves yet. I am confident that Philbin's staff is better at developing talent than sparano's staff. I anticipate that he wanted some changes in the composition of the team. I will wait for the entire offseason to form an impression of these moves.

If it is a rebuild, that is hard to do when there are players like Dansby, Wake who are in their 30s. If you want a full blown rebuild project, you get rid of the older high priced vets and put in young guys.

I am not ready to throw in the towel just yet and call it a rebuild, because there are still a few moves they can make to salvage this season.
