Happy as hell for him that he got that promotion but miss him on the local beat. Still provides the best info on the Dolphins even though he has moved on.

Getting away from that antiquated snap count will be huge in reducing the pressure on the OL and RT next season.
 
i miss him too. we have got to have to worse beat writers now. atleast darlington stays close to the phins, and always brings news when it counts
 
Wow 2:59 - 3:13 blew my mind. How was this not amended throughout the season, by Sherman, by Tannehill, by Philbin, I don't understand! How does a coach with a hard on for detail let that get by him???
 
I agree with him 100%. I personally think Coyle needs to go as well. The fact that we don't put our best defenders on an opposing team's best receivers blew my mind. Plus Ireland needs to go, that's a given though. Rumor has it they are Ross is waiting for the final report on bullygate to do something with him.

That horrific Go-Go cadence set a franchise record high for sacks allowed, and probably kept us out of the playoffs.
 
I really think Coyle is a bigger problem as well. Letting Lewis and Smith beat us is unacceptable especially letting Smith just sit back all day to throw was one of the main culprit of that loss.

That's what I have been saying for a while now, Ross needs a way to wrap the entire fiasco up and canning Jeffey would put a bow on it and allow him to move on without having to answer akward questions for the next 6 months.

I feel validated hearing that. Having so many people attack those of us who believed it was an issue, and basically calling us idiots...well, all I can say is: TOLD YOU SO!!
 
Bunch of crap. He basically said that Ireland was great and Tannehill will be elite.

Umm...well he gets paid all next year so he is doing better than you and I....and if he lands the Penn State job his loyalty and not looking to save his own skin...let's say karma would smile upon him.
 
BTW, Darlington states that Joe WANTED to keep Sherman. Enough once and for all around these parts, that Joe was a part of this decision.
