Seahawks | Jackson could be worth a second-round pick
Sun, 25 Feb 2007 21:43:09 -0800

Clare Farnsworth, of the Seattle Post-Intelligencer, reports the Seattle Seahawks are listening to offers for WR Darrell Jackson, but club president Tim Ruskell stressed that nothing is imminent. One AFC assistant coach said, "I doubt they could get a first-round pick for him, because of the injuries. I would suspect you could offer a third, but might have to give up a second."

If this is true I would be interested in visiting the idea. Definitely for a 3rd. When healthy this guy is top 10.

Nah I wouldn't give up a second for a guy who is constantly injured. Maybe a third, he still is young and Seattle has a bunch of receivers . . . I think Engram is the number 4 receiver, him or Burleson . . . they got depth for real.

For our later second I would.

The guy had 63 receptions in 13 games for a 15.2 ypc average. To top it off he had 10 TD.

Compare that to our go to guy Chris Chambers who had 59 catches in 16 games for 11.5 ypc average. With only 4 TD.

Thats with Hasselbeck having a down year and Seneca Wallace starting a few games.

If we were to get Jackson we could play him outside and Chambers in the slot. I love the idea.

I agree, look at it this way, Wes Welker for Darrell Jackson.

I would do it in a heartbeat.

Also, Bobby Engram is a FA!

What a great Duo

Chambers and Jackson. We can call them the Dropsie Twins! LOL

I have to admit, I still love Chambers in a fins Uni.
