Absolutely not. If he can't make it with Jon Gruden, he can't make it anywhere.

Uber talented guy. Was a former #2 overall pick. But he's a bad character. He's had about 50 chances and he's burnt them all. He's probably way out of shape now anyay.
 
No way pick this guy up. The 2nd pick overall of the Raiders has burned all his bridges. Never lived up to his hype.
 
We are severely hurting at DT, why not consider giving this guy a look and if he actually shows that he has ANYTHING left in the tank, sign him for the Vet. Minimum .. what do we have to lose here? And who knows, maybe him coming back to his home state where his family is might straighten the guy up.

I would rather keep the young guys, Shaw, and Vickerson. This guy has too many character issues.
 
The D-Line is fine, we have a lot of playmakers there and it will be far from a weakness this year. Actually the whole front 7 on D will be strong. If this guy played corner, on the other hand, bring him in.
