I feel Revis is going to hit another big payday purely on reputation.

He certainly doesn't deserve the money based on last seasons performance.

He's getting only and the window of being "elite" at that position is small, and he's certainly passed it.

To be honest, I'd rather bring back Patterson at a MUCH reduced contract.

I watched Revis play all last year here in Tampa. The opposition stays away from him almost all the time, they're afraid of Revis. What else does anyone need to know about his ability? And Revis didn't cause any drama here, I don't get where the "Revis = drama" comes from.

As far as money goes, I don't know. That's for Hickey and Aponte to figure out. But it would be fun to watch our defense with Revis and Grimes in there together.

he wasn't himself yet b/c of the injury but still was the best corner in the game. He's not getting $16 mil per but he will be highest paid corner. Hopefully he comes back home but I doubt it, just not NE or Miami.

I can see him coming back, not at that price b/c that is why we traded him in the first place but I can see him coming back. Rex is a persuasive guy.

A legit shutdown CB is worth that much to me, considering how important passing is in the league and to our #1 division rival.

At 16 million? really? I don't see anybody stupid enough to give him that. I can see at least a 10-12 which,even then is still really steep for a corner.

I'll take Revis and wouldn't think twice about it. Revis can play in any system, especially since most systems are designed around the CB's ability.

Depending on the money, I'd pull the trigger on a HoF talent in Revis to pair up with Grimes. Those 2 alone can make a defense a lot better. Both sides would be shut down. You could have a D-line of all scrubs and they would all look like great players.
