He looks really good in man coverage. He's really athletic and stick with his man well. He struggles in the zone, though. He misses his drop-backs. Third. Foxworth who was taken a few rounds later has out performed him. Shanahan sees Paymah as the corner with the most upside, though. He needs time to learn but his progress was good from beginning of camp to the end of it.RAS25 said:

David Boston is a fine player...when he plays. He's missed 26 games in 3 years and all of last year. I'm interested to see if he returns to the form he had in 2001 and '02 or if he's the possession type receiver he's been more recently. We're well aware of him from when he was in SD in 2003. I expect Walls to take Boston because he's 2 inches taller than David. The problem with going deep to Boston is that you have to give Gus time to throw it. Gus is a cigar store Indian in the pocket.
