With Daryl Gardner retiring after 14 years in the NFL it brings me to the sad

realization that I remember when he started his career and when he was

drafted by the Miami Dolphins, to which he spent his first 4 seasons.:dolphins:

With that in mind I want to propose a question to everyone. Who is your

favorite former dolphin that is still active in the league? Meaning which player

do you love the most that has spent some part of their career in Miami and is

now on to another team? Mine would have to be either Brian Griese or Patrick

Surtain .

Marco Coleman was the player who retired after 14 years. Daryl Gardner was drafted In 1996.

Jamar Fletcher, what he meant for the organization in his time here.... Wow. Dan Marino is a distant second compared to Fletcher in my eyes.

Seriously though, Surtain. The guy could make qb's forget there even was a right side of the field.

Recently, it would have to be Surtain, but I also loved Vincent when he was here, and he's been pretty successful since leaving...
