You see, two of my favorite (active) quarterbacks are Daunte Culpepper and Donovan McNabb. And now they are on different conferences, are they now counterparts of each other? They do have a lot in common.

-Both have size (Donovan McNabbbeing two inches shorter and twenty four pounds lighter)
-Both have a cannon for an arm
-While they much rather sit back in the pocket, they have been known to tuck the ball in and rish for yardage when needed to.
-Both Culpepper and McNabb has been criticized for being made by their receivers (Randy Moss and T.O. respectively)
-They both go into this season coming off of major injuries caused by tackles (Though Daunte Culpepper has the more severe injury)
-They are also going into their eigth season

And they were both coached by Brad Childress.

Daunte wan't really coached by Brad Childress...........Ha., but good point, nonetheless.

Emphasis on the fact that Brad Childress doesn't appear to be a good coach.

yea i would agree with the idea that they are counterparts, they are both very similar qbs and have simlar qualities on the field...both qbs are proven winners and have overcame diversity

Childress is a huge moron. He looks like the monopoly guy.

That's a personal attack.......

McNabb was respected prior to TO...

They're both very solid QBs. Any one who doubts their ability will be in for a surprise this year. I've had the opportunity to meet Donovan on a couple of time playing pick-up basketball. His basketball skills are sick!!! I hope they both stay healthy this upcoming season.

He played on the Syracuse team and, while he wasn't a superstar, had his share of big plays.

They've both had a faced a lot of criticism. But what pissed me off was when Donovan McNabb was criticized by someone from the NAACP. I mean, the guy called McNabb a sell out because he doesn't run like Vick. As a black and a McNabb fan, that screwed up my day.

Is Donovan's mom on the sideline directing him on where to go and when to shoot like in those commercials?

Both were 1st round QBs in the same draft class...

I remember those days. His leaping ability is definitely worth mentioning. He dunked on most of the guys in the gym. He didn't get me cause we were on the same team.

Donovan Mcnabb is the best QB in football

Forget about Peyton, with all the offensive talent he has had, and still had limited success, being a QB is more than stats, Mcnabb has led some really poor offensive teams to some really good places, and was the only reason the Eagles ever made an NFC championship

Culpepper is one of my favorites and probally the 4th or 5th best QB in the league IMO
