Folks

We can all agree to disagree on whether we liked/respected Daunte Culpepper or not. However, the fact remains that he was only released by the Miami Dolphins a few days ago. His actions and where he ends up are still points of interest for the majority of Dolphin fans. Until such time as he finds another team or the staff determines, for whatever reason, that interest in him has diminished here, threads about Culpepper still belong in the Main Miami Dolphins forum.

Thank you all for your viewpoints and please, if you disagree in a thread, respond to the subject of the thread and not to the poster.

COULD NOT HAVE SAID IT BETTER MYSELF!!

There is a reverse side as well, it would be better if non Daunte threads do not get threadjacked into all Daunte, all the time, not everyone really wants to read yet one more time about Daunte and were he may or may not go, or an opinion about how situation "X" compares to Daunte's moving on, that gets old old old real fast.

Keep it to the Daunte threads if you please.

Daunte Culpepper is reportedly asking for "starter's money" as a free agent.
He won't get that. Culpepper will certainly have to lower his asking price to catch on with a club as a backup prior to training camp. The Ravens, Bucs, Jaguars, and Jets are all believed to be showing interest.http://www.tboblogs.com/index.php/sports/comments/culpeppers-asking-price-may-be-too-high/

Premadona is the only thing that can be said about Daunte. I persoanlly think he will never play for another team and if he does it will only be as a back-up.

PFW 7/23/2007....We hear that some Dolphins players who watched Daunte Culpepper put in hours of hard work rehabbing his knee wish he had been given the chance to compete for the team’s starting QB job during training camp. But, once the trade market failed to materialize for the three-time Pro Bowler, Cam Cameron and GM Randy Mueller decided to eliminate any threat of distraction heading into Cameron’s first camp as head coach. However, word is, some Dolphins players wonder if the team cut bait too soon on Culpepper, who tossed 39 TD passes in 2004. Though there are questions about whether Culpepper, who hasn’t gone through a full practice since last October, will ever rebound physically, we hear he was a good guy to his teammates and was respected by the players, some of whom believe he wasn’t treated well by the franchise.
