Almost every successful offensive drive has featured Welker extensively. Instead of benching Daunte maybe they should make Booker the 3rd receiver. Daunte needs that security blanket of having a guy he can go to on 3rd down and know that they will catch the ball and hold on to it. Welker has been that guy.

Welker has been surprisingly competent as a receiver. He's a tough little fella.

He's the only one thats constantly open on almost every play.

It's not that defenses are keying on CC and MB anymore. Didn't you notice pacman Jones was teeing up against Welker? I'm pretty sure most teams have seen the film and know that Welker is really all of Miami's offense right now and they put their best guys on him. So don't give me this crap that it's because Chambers can't get open. Chambers is a ball dropper, that's why he doesn't get the ball.
