They are going to do a piece on Daunte coming up. Something about how he is coming back, and right now leading the offense??

I'm watching, a thing on Gatlin (track and field) have they shown the Pep news yet??

i think it might be the segment they did early this morning...its inside the huddle and john clayton reports that things are looking good for daunte and that he has been taking 7 step drops and is already looking good in the offense, he also said that hes making his comeback strongly...all good things

Yeah they just showed it. It was nothing but a very short clip that was on espn's web page the last few days.

Still, it is good news for us.:cooldude:

They reported that Joey Harrington will see some extended time.... on the bench. Daunte contiunes to progress at a remarkable pace and should be ready to participate in one practice a day during 2-a-days. Great news that we will have C-Pep for training camp. :)

i still don't wanna see him open the season. let him play preseason but keep him on the bench the first 3-4 weeks

Do what? Let him play preseason and hold him out when the season starts? Don't sound right.

That wouldn't make any sense. If he were to play the pre-season, then why wouldn't he play the regular games? There is no way we beat Pittsburgh without Daunte so I could see maybe playing him in that game and resting him against Buffalo and/or Tennesee and/or Houston.

I most defintly expect him to play the New England game in week 5 and the rest of the year after that.

I've seen the possibility that Daunte may have to sit out certain games due just to swelling. That would make me a little mad but I think to have a pro bowl QB on the field in at least half the season this year is a major upgrade.

that would not be smart , have him play PRESEASON BUT NOT THE REAL THING ,not smart not smart

That would be about as useful as a dick-flavored lollipop.
