Daunte Stallworth maybe next

is he better then Chambers? I'm not so sure he is and he would want that same kind of money, pass on him and sign Kelly Washington who has alot of potential. the Bengals are stacked at WR, thats the only reason Washington hasn't done anything yet

Apparently he visit with us on thursday. Would be cool to have those two. My question is if Stallworth comes in does Chambers leave.

Get rid of Chambers and sign Washington and Stallworth, with Booker and Hagen, thats a better set of recievers than this year.........IMO

Stallworth has reportedly been found violating the NFL's substance abuse policy. I haven't seen any updates since the original report, but if true, it will certainly kill his shot at free agency.

someones got to get him before he goes to the pats. if he does go there who do we have that can cover him on the one route he can run.....straight

Stallworth is reportedly in the Substance Abuse program and one slipup away from a suspension. If he does come here it better be a cheap incentive based contract.

I have to agree with ya. I'd rather sign Washington who has tremendous potential and won't demand as much money.

he can't get the ball if Porter and JT put Brady on the grass

First off . . . . I would take Chambers over Stallworth . . . Stallworth has more speed (not much more) but Chambers makes the big plays (both drop passes).

Get Kelly Washington . . . and have Chambers and Hagan. Draft Ginn with the #9 pick and u are set at receiver and returner. Very simple. Next year or 2 years from now, u trade Chambers . . . hopefully Hagan has proven himself as well as Kelly Washington and Ginn becomes your Steve Smith/slot receiver. I would trade Booker for some kind of 1st day pick. I like Book, but he is getting old, and I rather chance on a young guy like Washington.

Vick is the wild card tho . . . if he is the "real deal", we don't need Ginn then, and we can draft an Alan Branch or a Levi Brown . . . or even package some picks to move up for a Joe Thomas. Plenty of questions, but I like our options.

Kelly Washington is a solid replacement for Welker. However, I do not agree with those that are saying to let Chambers go. Releasing C.C. would be a huge mistake. I totally agree that we have needs at WR. I believe the best solution is to add an explosive WR like Donte Stallworth to the mix and move Chambers to the slot where he belongs. We already lost our most consistent WR to the Pats and released our 2nd leader in receptions. I really do not see any benefit in trading or releasing Chambers unless we get adequate compensation such as a 2nd round pick. I do not see any team giving up more than a 4th for C.C. It would be a waste to let a player like him go.... despite his inconsistent play, C.C. has kept us in some big games and helped the Fins win!!

A nice WR core would include:
a) an explosive, speedy WR like Stallworth
b) Chambers in the slot
c) Kelly Washington or Hagan
d) Kelly Washington or Hagan

He's better than Chambers, but he has issues. His hamstrings are injured a lot and he is 1 strike away from being suspended just like Ricky Williams was back then...

Didn't Mueller draft him?
