Daunte taking some snaps at practice

Good news! Cameron is getting a look at Daunte now. Hopefully he's been doing well.
 
I thought mini camp was over????

And who is Matt Baker? its just a blog.

I would not read to much into it either way (Pro or Con)
 
I would like to see C-Pep get a chance to play for us again. However would also like Green to come over and Beck to start from the off, so either way im gonna be happy :-)
 
maybe they have OTA'S that are not open to the public going on
 
Why was Chatman taking snaps with the first team?

Yes, these are OTAs that are not open to the public.

As for Chatman, it seems he really is making an impression.
 
Hmmm, can't wait to read all the Daunte haters make an excuse for this one. Just curious though, If KC were gonna be on the hook if Green were to be injured during camp for the 7+ million they owe him, wouldn't the same apply for Daunte?? If Miami were gonna move Daunte when we sign Green why would Miami risk Daunte being re-injured and owing him the money, if they were gonna release him and save all that money, as some believe?? And why would Miami let Daunte take snaps at all if he weren't in Miami's plans? We have other QB's on the roster at the moment that could be taking the snaps, no need for Daunte to do it....unless Cam wants Daunte to learn the system.
 
Im a Ronnie Brown supporter, but I have a feeling that if he does not play lights out this year, he just might get traded. He is defitnetly being coached the right way, but if he doesnt apply it to himself and doesnt break out. I pretty sure that Cam and Mueller wont hesitate to move him.
 
I think Trent Green is an excellent QB. That being said, I hope the Phins let Dante get healthy, and see what he has left. I just don't want to give up another pick for a veteran QB. They should let Dante play, and see if he has any trade value next year... when Beck should be ready to start.

If you watch interviews with Dante... man, you gotta feel bad for him. Here's a guy who was one of the top QBs in the league. Then one freak play, and his career has been turned upside down for going on three seasons.

I have to say one thing, though. He's staying positive amidst all this Trent Green talk and how his career is all but over. He just might be in the toughest position of any player in the NFL right now, this side of Pacman Jones... and he didn't bring this on himself. He's taking an awful lot of heat, and he didn't do one thing to deserve it. Not the flak from the fans, the media, the coaches, the organization... nobody. He doesn't deserve any of it. All he did was get injured.

I'm pretty much resolved to the fact that Green is all but a Dolphin, and Dante is all but gone... but, for the record... I don't like it. I'm still pulling for C-pep. No matter how bleak it seems right now. I'm still pulling for him to come back and play well... unless, of course he gets cut and signs with the Jets... then I would hope he gets run over by a truck.:)
