he is a sexual deviant and was/is a REAL danger to the public, especially women. these kind of "kinks" dont just go away. think of the things YOU do or like or think about sexually. are they going away? and even some of the things one may think about sexually, even if a person may never act on it, its there, its still an excitement and a small spark of the dimmest kind can set it all off.
and its easier for someone who has acted on their sexual dark side to re offend. just like it is easier for a someone to kill after he/she has already done it.
good for cecil if he has truly repented and WILL take steps to make sure he doesnt repeat. his first drop of alcohol will put him right back through a window and into a strange womans bedroom. he doesnt even need much a of spark at all. and a persons demons are thought out and lusted for much more while incarcerated.
but, unfortunately, the stats say a person like cecil with his personality disorders, his sexual dark side and penchant for alcohol WILL most likely re offend. and usually when these ones fall into their old habits after incarceration, it turns out worse. he is more likely to rape and or murder if he fails.
cecil has a HARD ROAD and that happy life with all that "good tasting air" can go sour very, very quick with ONE wrong thought, ONE drink, ONE momnent on dwelling on his sexual tastes. if he keeps riding this "i'm a changed man, i'm happy-happy now instead of telling himself EVERY minute, "hey, i have real demons and can slip EASILY at any minute and i better never walk into a bar, a porn house, strip club etc... he is as good as gone.
make NO mistake folks, cecil collins got every bit of time he deserved. the judge DID do him [and probably saved a womans life] a huge service by locking his sick arse up. there have been SOME that didnt want to go back to prison so bad, it kept them from offending again. but, those ones are very few. this wasnt a kid breaking into a garage and steeling a bike, or breaking in a house where the folks were on vacation and taking their blue ray player. this is a SEXUAL DEVIANT PREDATOR who was on the way to something even worse, at any moment. and he may have already crossed those lines, we will never know. but the judge gave him the proper sentence. he deserved it and doesnt belong in the same categoy as ray rice [even though his act was distasteful].
do NOT feel sorry for cecil collins in ANY way, shape or form. root for him to not offend ever again, but have NO sympathy for his actions or his incarceration.
