Dont matter, he didnt do nothing for us. Plus we drafted Derek Hagan so a WR issue doesnt matter. He can go join Bucs. Lol i fixed it.

Tampa Bay wrapped up its third and final organized team activity of the week at One Buc Place on Thursday afternoon, but the Bucs didn’t just spend part of the late morning and early afternoon looking at their own players.
The Bucs also took a look at former Arizona, San Diego and Miami wide receiver David Boston, who visited One Buc Place for a tryout on Thursday, according to The Tampa Tribune.

The 6-foot-2, 230-pound Boston has hauled in 315 career passes for 4,699 yards (14.9 avg.) and 25 touchdowns since entering the NFL in 1999 as a first-round pick out of Ohio State.

Boston, 27, spent the first four years of his career in Arizona. His best season came in 2001 when he caught a career-high 98 passes for 1,598 yards (16.3 avg.) and eight touchdowns as a Cardinal.

In 2003, Boston signed with the San Diego Chargers. He caught 70 passes for 880 yards (12.6 avg.) and seven touchdowns in 14 regular season games, but that journey turned into a one-year stint after a rift reportedly began between he and Chargers head coach Marty Schottenheimer.

Boston joined the Miami Dolphins in 2004, but he didn’t see action in a regular season game that season due to a season-ending knee injury he sustained. To make matters worse, Boston was suspended by the NFL for four games for testing positive for steroids in December of 2004.

In 2005, Boston caught just five passes for four yards in five regular season games before suffering a torn left ACL, which ended his season prematurely.

It is not yet clear how much interest Tampa Bay has in signing Boston. The Bucs already have a pretty full stable of wide receivers that includes veterans Joey Galloway, Michael Clayton, Ike Hilliard, Edell Shepherd and Mark Jones. The Bucs have also invested four draft picks in wide receivers Larry Brackins, Paris Warren, J.R. Russell and Maurice Stovall over the past two years.

We draft Derek Hagan, Marques Hagans was drafted by St. Louis.:D

Anyways i think Boston's career is over. I hope he can rebuild his career, but I don't think it will happen.

good, we'll finally get rid of that bum...

Boston was horrible, all he does is get you a little exited with his talent and let you down Glad hes gone

I never could understand why finfans liked him.I suppose it was because he looked good in shorts and had great straight line speed. He was always a favorite topic to start a thread about.

I was probably the only one on this MB that didnt like the trade for him.I know he only cost us a 6th round pick but wouldnt you like to have that pick back knowing what we know now.

Yet another Speilman misjudgement.

LOL@their getting stats off of NFL.com and reading them wrong. Boston caught 4 passes for 80 yards in five games.

Boston was a waist of uniform, only good thing he did for the Fins is make us better in Madden.

Go to Bucs and make Bucs worse
:dolphins:
