I saw him in one playu today, whats up with that? its like he is forgot bout now days?

they put him a lot to block corners but he needs to be used more than he is now

maybe he can be of some use on special teams or something. ;p

give him some time, isn´t it a good sign that our O is kind of clicking without the talent of Boston, if he somehow can start to put up some numbers, it will be a huge lift for that team

don't mess with whats working. we haven't needed him yet.

Welker seems to have suplanted him in the rotation and has made big play after big play, so Boston is really going to have to make the best of his situation and come up with something when the opprotunity presents itself. Otherwise, he'll be bench fodder...

Other than Chambers, which WR had a productive day. Booker caught only 1-2 passes, if I recall and Welker had that end around. Carolina's defense limited the passing game. However, they were able to make a few big plays when it mattered.
Statistically, Gus threw for 177 yds and had a less than 50% completion.

That is all that matters. Forget the stats, the offense makes plays when the count.

Well, if Frerotte hits him on the that one play, it was about a 50 yard gain, perhaps a TD...the problem with Boston's pllay is that they are using him mostly for deeper routes and Frerotte can't hit him....

That was a sure TD if Frerotte would have hit Boston on that play. I expect we'll see him hit one in the next few games. Boston will get his.

Jfin..you just gave me the opportunity to bash Gus again...Booker was open for big gains twice, once he was overthrown deep and the the other time it was a crossing pattern and Gus thru it behind him...I'll give Gus the benefit, that crossing pattern, he was rolling out and had to throw it across his body, but if those two passes are completed, and the long pass to Boston that was overthrown, the score is at least 14/17 points more. If Gus could just be a little more accurate and start hitting his guys in stride, like Delhomme was, this O could really be exciting...But, replacing Gus will just have to wait until of offseason...I don't see anything better now...

I don't know if the Chambers pass yesterday counts as a "long completion," but before the game Gus was 0 for 13 on long passes. Boston and Booker were open yesterday and he didn't hit them. We need to start hitting those -- then we can start blowing teams out instead of having every game be a nail-biter.
