I know Miami might need another WR but i dont think its that bad. Chris Chambers is under-rated in my opinon. People said he is "inconsistant" but its not him whos inconsistant.......maybe it's the QB's that having been throwing him the ball who are inconsistant! With the new offence i think we will be seeing alot more yards and TD's from Chambers, especially when we get a REAL QB!
anyways....what ever happend to David Boston? i know he was hurt last season and got in trouble with illegal use of steroids or something. I have only seen him catch a few passes this year, is he hurt still or what, why dont he start over Booker.....i mean at one time David Boston was a "go to guy".

He was inconsistant for several weeks. The QBs put the ball on the money and he would drop them. How is that Gus or Sage's fault?

He is on IR. They tried to play him some this year but every time they gave him real reps his knee acted up.

I agree... but on another note... how do you have GUnit and Soccer in one sentence above your Avator..... is that legal?

I say keep him on the sidelines... as Sabans security guard... ROIDS

Some passes may have been "on the money" but Chambers doesnt drop much, espcially on the big plays, if you need a guy to realy on, its Chamber. Please dont tell me all his dropped passes have been on the money, have you seen some of the catches he has to make just for a 10 yard pass!?!?!? Ferotte makes hard catches for him all the time and it seems like hes drops, he hardly ever drops a ctachable pass and makes some insane catches.

Ummm....I disagree. When they say he "dropped" a ball, that means it was catchable. Great pass or not, it should be caught.

no......a dropped pass isnt always a catchable ball, a dropped pass is when it hits you in your hands. And when Chambers did "drop" a pass the ball hitted him in the hands but the ball was like either way behind him, or like 10 feet over his head. Otherwise he wouldnt be a pro bowler with WR's like Chad Johnson and Marvin Harrison.

when who says?, a person on this forum?A dropped pass is one that should be caught. Chambers has dropped some of those, but therealso have been incompletions on really bad passes that only a WR as athletic as Chambers would even have a chance to get too. Some are obvious, others are "perception" and some peoples's perception can be a little off. I remeber someone complaining, saying Chambers "dropped" a pass on an overthrown deep pass against tampa Bay, dove and desparatley reached the ball, but it was just to far, hits the very tip of his fingers, probably his fingernail and falls incomplete.

No....when you drop a pass that means you could and should have caught it. You had it in your reach and you didn't catch it. High, Low, Behind, whatever the fact of the matter is you dropped it. Hence a dropped pass.

No one puts the ball on the money every time, recivers are expected to adjust, adapt, and make a play. They don't get paid all that money to only catch the easy ones.

He makes such a effort for a insane catch that i think people think he could have caught some of those bad throws

I'm talking about passes that should have been caught. One that really sticks out in my mind is the Pats game. Gus threw it low in the endzone, Chambers got low and too the ball, and it should have been a TD. Unfortunatly he didn't make the catch, I consider that a dropped ball, he was in position to make the play and he didn't.

I'm not here to hate on Chambers, hes a hell of an athlete, but my knock on him is he needs to be more consistent with his hands before I consider him an "elite" wide reciever.
