Im very happy we kept him this year.

he is second on our team in sacks and hasnt started one game this season.

Last year he had 8 sacks i think or maybe 7 and was second on our team last year.

This guy can play and is very valuable in nickle or dime packages because of his pass rush skill.

I think its good we kept him even though he is costing us some solid money.

Then again when u have JT on one side, it doesnt matter who is on the other side it seems.

A quality starter at a back up role.

In addition, if JT had to miss extended time (which hasnt happened and wont, touch wood), Bowens is the only real tweener type de/lb we have who could slide into the open end role. Without him we'd have to restrict our schemes if JT got hurt.

He is a great backup to JT, seems to know his role and plays it well. If Carter got hurt he would probably fill in for him too.

i love that i got a fins football signed by him this last offseason!!!
