He was a back up center for the Chargers who just got released. Do you guys think we might be interested in him? Coach HH knows him well since he coached him last year. Im not sure he could come in and start, but since he is well aware of coach H o-line philosophy maybe he could be brought here as a back up. He is still very young and who knows...Maybe he will give McKiney a run for his money.

David Bradnt, 28 years old, 6'4" 311 lbs. Center from U of Michigan. Was the back up center last year at San Diego, while coach Hudson H. was the o-line coach there last year. He was cut my San Diego today. Coach H knows this guy well so if he believes he will be an upgrade to what we now hace at center, he will be given a chance.

I think you mean Brandt, not Bradnt. He has only started one game in four years in the league and last year rookie Nick Hardwick beat him out. How often do rookies start an entire season at center? I doubt he'd be any better as a backup than what we have, but like you say if HH thinks he'd upgrade the depth, we'd probably put in a waiver claim.
He was the unsung member of a great line at Michigan that included Steve Hutchinson, Jeff Backus and Maurice Williams.
