David Carrao hired as Defensive Quality Control Coach

The Dolphins hired University of Mississippi linebacker coach David Carrao as defensive quality control coach on Wednesday.

The hirings are coming in a furry. The staff is pretty much set with the exception of naming an OC, a Tight Ends coach, Offensive Quality Control Coach and possibly another coach to help Hoffman with ST.

I would guess that he gets to break down tape and give feedback on breakdowns

I believe they're the guys that take pictures of formations, and then go over the formations with the captains of that unit.

They prepare the tape for the coaches and help out with the gameplan.

OC looks like it'll be Dan Henning (preferred) or Chris Palmer.

Ben Coates looks like he'll coach the TEs.

Makes sense. Just normally never hear much about the hiring of these guys. Wonder what title the Pats use for their Spy camera guy ?
