The odd thing is that he was on the verge of winning the starting spot at one point. Something happened between that point and his injury. In the Hard Knocks show (#2), the guy that gave the HC the heads up on Gerrad said that his knee was swollen. That was a pile of bull because when the cameras next focused on Gerrads knee, it looked normal. Something happened behing the scenes. Getting "injured" because you turn around to see your kids in the pool is bull. Something happened.

And the surgery? Was that fake, too? I thought his knee looked swollen too.
