Plunkett - for you NFL fan youngsters - was a QB for New England and then the Niners in the 70's....and made his name as a Raider in the twilight of his career.

A great defense. Lester Hayes and Mike Haynes were GREAT book end corners. Marcus Allen was there great half back.

And Plunkett was the last piece of their puzzle who played great for them and won superbowls in his late 30's.

Garrard has all of the ingredients to help the Dolphins rise to greatness.

A seasoned veteran that knows game management and how to utilize the tools around him....

OK hopefully I'm right!

I saw him play when he was with NE and with the Raiders. Garrard is better than he was in NE and not as good as he was at Oakland. I really don't see any similarity at all.
