David Gerrard for a 3rd + Feeley?

I know...It wont happen, but after seeing these 2 Qb's play tonight I can dream, c'ant I??
During the off season I heard that Jaxs was shopping Gerrard for a 2nd rd pick. I say what about us sending Feeley plus a 3rd rd. Feeley's contract next years will go up quite a bit. I dought we will keep him as a 2 string qb with a high salary. Every time i've seen Gerrard play I'm impressed by him, he has pocket awareness, strong arm, and can run when he needs to. Would you guys do this trade??

Jag's know of Gerrards value. They signed him to an extended contract this year.

Plus, not to start anything but who would want Feely in a trade. At this point he doesn't have much (if any) trade value.

That's why I say give them Feeley plus a 3rd rd. I've been to the practices I've seen the 2 pre-season games. I know its inly pre-season but the more I see these 2 qb's play...the more I think we needs a real starting qb. I hope Im wrong, but these 2 guys look more and more like back ups qb's to me.

From a 2nd round pick for a backup in Feeley to a 3rd round pick for yet another backup!

You may have something there... I would do that trade in a heart beat, but im sure they would want a draft pick also. Maybe im getting desperate but i THINK WE SHOULD TRY TO UPGRADE THE QB POSITION NOW that we have 3 games left and let Gus start start since he knows the system until who ever we bring in is ready.
