David Hyde: Ginn Shows He Needs To Be On The Field

It just finally feels good to come onto this message board on Monday and not having to read thread after thread of how Ted Ginn is a bust.

I'm happy for the guy.

I'm glad he had a good game lets hope he keeps it up.

the beginning of the article is dumb and negative towards the coach

ronnie was only in on 2nd downs the first two games because they were easing him back after a major injury...game 3 vs the pats they felt he was back to 100% and unleashed the wildcat

ginn has shown his rookie inadequacies enough that he is still progressing, and he has had problems getting separation and running the correct routes...

he is getting better, and once again, receivers are typically a 3 year project before they break out...WR is one of THE HARDEST positions on the field

why would he not be in most...

...If not all passing packages?? That baffles me. Who else do we have? Camarillo I guess. But if their is 1 reciever in the package it should be Ginn. Two WR then it should be Ginn/Camarillo. Three - Ginn/Bess/Camarillo. Four, you get my point.

Bottom line, unless we go all TE/RB, Ginn should be on the field, the decoy threat alone will keep defenses honest.

Not a big fan of the article. I agree on the returns but lets not act like Ginn has not been on the field.

It is true that he comes off the field a little too much since he is our best receiver. If we are in a one wr set and Camarillo is in instead of Ginn then our team isn't as good.

If you look at when the Dolphins go to their Wildcat package, atleast the ones they use with Ronnie at QB, they don't have any of the normal wide receivers in the game. Pennington lines up at wide receiver with Cobbs in the slot. The receivers are Fasano and Martin with Brown and Williams at running back.

I'm sure when we go to our Jumbo-type packages, Ginn is not in there as well.
