You make it sound as if you don't need a QB coach and in Miami, they did without one after firing him. A great example of solid QB coaching is in SF where Alex Smith stated it was nice to have someone who spoke QB language. Henne never showed any development until after Lee was gone.

Yeah, best QB coaching is dont let him throw.

You are wrong there as much as wanny is average at best as a coach he is a great defensive coordinator. thats a great decision

Wanny was a very good coordinator. Remains to be seen with the advent of the offense-tilting rules, whether he still will be.

What's funny is that I was reading a local Pittsb area newspaper writer at the time Dave''s Pitt HC job was announced. This guy was raving about how lucky the program was, how they would build a legacy, etc.. almost to a point of fawning. I emailed him what to expect with Wanny both pro annd mostly con.. and got a scathing mind your own business, you're an angry Fins fan reply back. Well, guess what? LOL. Wish I kept his indignant email.

Since everything's relative, relatively speaking Henne, before he got injured, proved he's a better QB than David Lee a QB coach! He actually showed improvement by being coached by a recycled WR coach. Imagine That!

And David Lee was his problem, not Dan Henning? I mean I remember Dan Henning and Todd Collins here in Buffalo, ehh.

Henne's completion % did drop from 61% to 57%. Probably his mechanics got sloppy after David Lee left.
