Well we now have a short week and may be down a man with Ronnie having ankle issues.

So i wanted to go over our rookie DB's who all seem to be playing well and who they will cover and how they match up.

First i say Vontae is on Steve Smith Vontae can by physical with him and do a good job limiting him.

And Sean needs to be on Muhammad similar size and Smith is faster so Muhammad wont be running away from him anytime soon.

As for how they match up i think Vontae on Smith will be something to watch it will be a great matchup, Smith may get some catches but Delhome better be careful Vontae will get his hands on alot of balls if he stares him down.

And for Smith he has kind of leveled off in the past weeks, but considering who he has had to cover i say he has done a great job this year, this matchup will be easier than most of his Muhammad is a smart veteran but Sean's athleticism can cover over that. Could be primed for his first big play in this game since i believe Vontae will have Smith covered well.

And i know pressure will have some to do with how well they perform. If we can get some pressure our rookie DB's might get 2 picks. They may give up a play or two but they will play well and we will have a good shot to win this game on Thursday.

Carolina really doesn't have a good number 2. Muhammad will come out every now and then and have a game like he did today, but not consistently. Dante Rosario can be a receiving threat, but he's the backup TE.

Carolina relies heavily on their running game.

I am more worried about whoever their tightend is!!!

jeff king, not much of a household name and not nearly as impressive as the TE's that the dolphins have faced so far this season.

i am more worried about Williams and Stewart. those are two pretty good RB's.

Carolina lost starting LT Jordan Gross this week. Out for Thurs.

If recent trends hold then Delhomme is bound to blow.

Here's to hoping Jake's on the 19th is exactly like Cutler's on the 12th.
