This is the first time I have seen an interview with the Dolphins CB, and I have say I got the impression he is not the brightest bulb in the bunch. I looked up his wonderlic test results and he scored a 33. That was the highest score among CBs at the combine, but he was dumb enough to test positive for marijuana at the combine. He is a gifted athlete, but his bonehead penalties in preseason probably propelled Smith ahead of him. Am I nuts, or does he seem a bit dim in this interview?

Who cares if hes dumb, he can play ball. As for the positive test, Im sure him and ricky will be chillin'.

i may be wrong but wasn't Davis along with a few others cleared of testing positive for marijuana at the combine?

i agree i think he's antoine winfield with better closing speed in a few years...

a perfect 3-4 corner...some people have no idea what the makeup and skillsets needed to play different positions in the nfl are...

kids giving up catches as a rook so he's not the goods...please a waste of time...

watch him close on the ball when it's in front of him and how physical in run support and an elite tackler vontae is plus he's got top notch speed and athleticism...

not debating his skills, but you gotta wonder how he made it through college !

^ the same way Emmitt Smith made it through college- sports. Smith might be a legend on the field, but his commentating outted him as one of the dumbest individuals to ever be put on television. I used to crack up at some of the things he said every weekend. I wish he was still on lol.

"It takes a coach who know how to communicate."

"Eli Manning has been given the rice of passage."

& when we got parcells I remember him saying

"He's goin change how the front office even think."

On a positive note, he sure can dance!!!

Doesn't matter to me obviously he s a gamer.. His skills and swagger tell me enough about him on the field

He is probably a little nervous and it seems like there may be some teammates trying to make him laugh. He doesn't come across as stupid to me. Interviwing is not the easiest thing if you don't like public speaking.
