I got to witness this live, but did everyone see Davone Bess make that crucial catch while sliding on his back in the grass? OH MY GOD, what an athlete!!!!
Undrafted gem i think it is safe to say. I look forward to watching him develop. I call him Mini-Ricky, because of his dreads. Looks kind of like the old ricky.:ricky:

Yeah, that was a great catch.. who knows what he would have done had it been a good pass in stride

That was ONE good catch, I didn't think it was anything to write home about.
 
Yeah, that was a great catch.. who knows what he would have done had it been a good pass in stride

that was a TD i think if it was in stride cuz i did not see one S or CB infront of his route area.
 
A lot of people have been down on Bess this year. I think he is doing a fantastic job as an UDFA. I didn't expect him to light things up, but I did think he would make a slight impact, which he has.

He needs time to fully develop from the college level to the pro level. Welker didn't really start making a big impact in the receiving game until his third year(final with the Dolphins). Camarillo wasn't anything special until his third year(this year). I like Bess and see some good things for the future.
