good yo i like Bess, i think hes got alot of potential to be a great player in the NFL, i hope we wind up keepin him and using him frequently instead of throwin him in for 2 plays a game

Ricky Williams made a couple of very impressive runs during the session. On one there was a hole the size of a Honda Civic, which was opened up by Jake Long and a pulling Donald Thomas.

I have a feeling that by around mid-season when this line has had time to gel, this will be something that occurs on a pretty regular basis.:woot:

Bess comes from an incredile Offense in college. I stayed up alot last year to watch Hawaii games. The offense was a thing of beauty and Brennan & Bess weere major reasons why. I think Bess will be are next version of Welker, I have been saying this for a while. The guy is an excellent route runner, he knows how to block for RBs, he can KR/PR and he has superglue for hands. Remember the name Davone Bess.

So why has he gone undrafted??

I have no clue, most had him as a 3rd pick. The only thought I have was the horrible bowl game hawaii had against Georgia. Miami wanted to draft him in the 7th, but went with Dotson instead.

As soon as the draft was over they were on the phone with him. Who cares if he went undrafted alot of goood players have gone undrafted. He is here now and had to have impressed, because if not he would have not been moved up the depth chart.

i thought the same thing when i read "slow" reciever.. haha.. i love when the big boys make gramatical mistakes.

They made mention of Bess taking on the kick return duties. I was really hoping to see Armstrong there. He looked the best I've seen from any returner Miami's had this year. He's got some real quickness.

Good for Bess I like this kid. If Wilford struggles this week and against Jacksonville we will see Keyshawn in training camp next week. IMO and I feel it would be a good move.

So why has he gone undrafted??

1) Off the field problems in High school I believe - Picked up some friend that had stolen something if I recall correctly

2) WAC

3) Label just like Brennan a system product

4) came out as a JR
