ya know, they are going to wake up to Gale force winds on Monday morning and the weather will be getting worse quickly. The eyewall will come ashore about 4 or 5 pm according to a forecast map I just saw. So far every track has been moved west, let's hope it does so again and spares one of our most unique cities. I saw a program once about what would happen if the dike around the city was breached by storm surge during a major storm. The water was four stories deep in many places, I was stunned. Apparently the rise would happen very quickly, trapping many who did not head advice and go up or get out. This could be horrific.

Hopefully people will leave today as DD28 did, and be smart, rather then waiting until the last minute!
