"Overall: Wright originally attended Northeastern Oklahoma A&M in 2003, played defensive end and outside linebacker, and made 68 total tackles, 14 tackles for loss, and eight sacks. He transferred to Colorado in 2004 and played in all 13 games (started the final three of the regular season), and recorded 23 total tackles, six tackles for loss, and 4.5 sacks. In 2005, Wright started all 13 games at defensive end and made 27 total tackles, seven tackles for loss, five sacks, and two forced fumbles. He started all 12 contests in 2006 amassing 57 total tackles, 15.5 tackles for loss including 11.5 sacks, and one forced fumble earning a first team All-Big 12 selection.
Wright is a high-effort player that has enough upper body strength and quickness to become an effective reserve that also contributes on special teams. That said, he isn't big enough to play an every-down role at end ..."
