Dead Serious: What options do we have next year (At QB)?

We went all in on Tua. We pretended he wasn’t small, and his arm wasn’t weak. We pretended he was an mvp candidate. He is a master of no look picks. We are riding with tua next year we don’t have a first round pick. Tua wants it he works hard. Let’s go Tua
valid

Jimmy G is really good, don't understand the hate on him...injured often for sure but when healthy he wins...a lot. Jets are drooling over him
Agree. Shanahan/McD offense is QB-friendly (look at Purdy).. The fact that Tua is struggling in this offense is pathetic.

Give me Jimmy G. He'll be available for sure. But I want Rodgers and I believe he'll be available

Yet none of those three picks were because he was small or has a weak arm.

The thought of watching Tua FOR AN ENTIRE SEASON next year makes me sick. He's an amazing backup and a hell of a guy and I wish him the best but he has no confidence in himself and he just melted down. He can't win when it matters. He's a poor-man's Kirk Cousins and I'd take Cousins 100 times before I'd take Tua.

What are our options next year? Please walk me off the ledge

Derek Carr? - Is he really an upgrade?
Aaron Rodgers? - I'd give my left nut for a beyond-his-prime Rodgers
Tom Brady? - See above
Jimmy G? - Say what you want, but I'd take him over Tua
Lamar Jackson? - Not a chance Ravens let him walk and we dont have the $$ but it'd be nice to dream

I would take any of them you listed over Tua and I believe a few on your list will be available.

I was just talking to my brother about this.

He won't work on a weak team like we are. He is fragile, weak arm or not, he's very erratic and seems to be soft ass a 75 year old penis head wise. Maybe getting beat down all those years had an affect but either way we need (IMO) a QB that has swag ala Marino, JA, TB, AR throw something and yell after a pick. Sitting in a corner feeling sorry for yourself isn't going to cut it on a field of Alphas high on testosterone

Threads like these serve no purpose outside of venting, lol. It will be Tua. We don’t have the resources to upgrade the QB position. The team looked exponentially worse with Teddy and Skylar under center. Mind you Teddy was considered an elite back up going into the season.

A lot of us knew deep down that Tiny Tua wasn't the answer and that we were barking up the wrong tree with this nerd at HC. We all wanted to believe, but we all kinda knew. Few of us said it out loud to this point because it is so hard knowing you're starting fresh with a new coach and yet still going in the wrong direction.

Now we are faced with the same familiar harsh reality us Phins fans are used to this time of year. Even a Christmas Story doesn't get as played this time of year as Dolphins fans do. We are stuck with Tiny Tua and this nerd who should still be a jock sniffing ball boy somewhere.

Not to pile on cause of the loss but they also ignored his injuries in college. 3 years in and all 3 years he’s been injured at some point. Fluke or not, it’s something that will loom when it comes to an extension imo

We can definitely get a Jimmy G here. At least that guy knows how to win (albeit he gets a hurt a lot, nothing we're not already used to with Tua)
