Dead Serious: What options do we have next year (At QB)?

No need to wait. I'll be very excited. You guys jump ship every time any QB doesn't play a pro bowl game. He choked, it happens. I could point to several games this season where he didn't. Are those erased bc he threw 2 bad throws?(one was just a total miscommunication)

You guys just lack perspective. He was having a very efficient game up to then. We aren't ready, it's that simple. You trying to convince me that we aren't showing something we haven't seen in 2 decades this season? I don't buy that. First year head coach is changing things.
We don’t need efficient
We need good

Small, smart QBs usually take a few years to really hit their stride.

Brees was on his second team. Jeff Garcia spent 5 years in the CFL.

I'm not giving up on Tua, even though I was openly against drafting him. But what we are seeing is concerning... he has to play smarter, and we REALLY need more passes to our RBs with this sort of QB.

I'm not saying 'no', I'm saying... he's not elite, at least... not yet.
Maybe he needs his second team then

Why aren’t we ready though? The line has been decent. Our WRs are literally the best in the league. The running game is serviceable. There’s no reason we shouldn’t be ready.
This is year 1 of a completely new system under a new coach. I get it, we've had coach turnover and had to say this every few years.....but what other option do we have? Give each new coach one year to get to the super bowl? This is the most promising first year I've ever seen and I'm 51, so I choose to not ruin my life over what I can't control bc this is my team and always will be.

Bro it’s not an excuse and no they don’t overcome everything every time. I’m sorry but you Putt Derek Carr in KC or Buffalo or Baltimore or Miami and he’s a perennial playoff contender.
Are you kidding me? Derek Carr is terrible. He has a top 3 WR, RB, and TE and he still sucks. Did you not watch the game last night?

Tua has looked too good at times this year for the asinine thread. He was an MVP candidate a month ago. He’s crapped the bed 3 of the last 4 weeks no doubt. His play this season has come back to the median.

Bromance with McD is over. **** has hit the fan. Tua needs to handle this adversity and take his team to the playoffs.

I have no interest in an old QB on his last legs.

The only QB I’d be interested in is Lamar Jackson. Otherwise, I’m content with this franchise remaining what it’s become…. A piece of ****. That’s the new norm and I’m fine with it going forward. I’ve accepted it.

That’s why for my issues I have with McDaniel, that post was mostly directed at Tua. It’s year 3 for him, the time to put up or shut up is now. Yah he’s had to deal with a lot of crap but now it got him the weapons he has today and he absolutely has to capitalize on that. Trending way down right now and if we miss the playoffs it’s gonna be really hard for him to bounce back from that mentally. These next 2 games may almost entirely decide Tuas future in Miami.
