Teams now have until Thurs at 10 pm EST to release players to get under the cap. Sounds like a long day of rumors starting at 830 am tomorrow.
Semi good news. It gives them a lot more time to try and hammer out a new deal.

Please God, let them extend the CBA.

Im with you on this one.... we NEED (and I mean NEEEEED) that CBA to get done if we hope to pick up the big names without cutting many more people... hopefully both sides in the meeting can put aside their ego and greed to put together a new CBA for the good of the NFL... yes Nublar, let us pray!:dolphins:

As all Dolphins Fans, we need to just pray that the CBA deal gets done!! If a deal is reached, we go from 8 million over as of right now, to 5 million under. Plus, that is before we have made all of our moves, If a deal is reached, we could have up to 12 million to work with, which is plenty in this market. We need to think optimistically.

I hope a new deal is reached, but atleast we will not be in as bad as a spot as teams like Denver and Washinton.

I feel my faith truly being tested here brothers! Let's unite for strengh and hope all the billionares and millionares of the NFL can get this worked out! I am man, hear me roar...

Hopefully this is a good sign for things to come. We can have a great off season if things get worked out. I think that one side would have to give in. The players don't benefit by the low salary cap this year because they can't make as much money, while owners would make money regardless. Then with players getting cut from teams that have played for their whole careers, they have to just get up and move with their family. I know its a business and all, but ask Will Shields from Kansas City if he likes the idea of having to move after spending 13 years in KC.

If a deal is struck tomorrow, will free agency be pushed back?
