Miami needed a quarterback and could afford to pay Manning whatever he wanted.
This part in the article isn't true:
The rest is stuff we've already seen
the salty tears are so tasty......

As stated before I didn't think Miami had the cap space for Manning it's going to be an insane deal and I'm starting to think in the end it was all about money.
Maybe I'm totally off, us fans don't really know but I think not signing Flynn is a great sign. As I start to digest this I think Philibin had him and Rodgers in practice and probably saw a huge difference between the two. He probably thinks Rodgers is a huge reason GB went to the Super Bowl and isn't going to accept another back up QB running this team. I don't think they tried very hard to get Flynn. Now Seattle is one less team in the way when it comes to drafting a QB.
At least Miami will ahead of the Jets next year w/ Sanchez....that's something to look forward to.
Well, considering the new league year is only 11 days old and the off season is not even close to finished, I don't know how you can fairly judge what has happened so far.
The Matt Flynn story was a big deal. I honestly think if Philbin really wanted him, we would have him.
