What do you think if the Dolphins traded Daunte Culpepper to the Oakland Raiders for their second round pick? Since the Raiders are struggling this year and should get a top five pick, plus the fact that Andrew Walter is clearly struggling as well and would like to have a veteran QB to help groom him, would you trade Daunte for Oakland's second round pick which is almost a first rounder?

DEAL

OR

NO DEAL?

No Deal

I say we keep pep and see what he can do when he gets healthy...we have to give him a fair shot...
By the time we realize he is terrible and washed up(which he is) it will be too late to get anything for him effectively wasting our second round pick in the process.

I also highly doubt the Raiders would take him the way Walter is starting to play anyways.

Pep isnt 100% If Pep was 100% at the start of the season and played the way he did then yes by all means.

I say Deal and use our first rounder on either Brady Quinn or Troy Smith, then use the second rounder on Ted Ginn Jr. Can you imagine having Troy Smith, Ted Ginn, Chris Chambers, Ricky Williams and Ronnie Brown all lining up on offense...WOW!!!:  :D :dolphins:

washed up?

so you telling me joey and Cleo can take us to the promise land or some rookie that hasnt prove nothing in this league?

Pep is our QB in the future..like it or not..he wont get traded

lets see a healthy Culpepper before you use "washed up"

Umm, if I'm not mistaken, the Raiders had a WHOPPING 17 yards passing going into the 4th quarter! I looked up his game final statistics and he went 5/14 for 51 yards and 1 int. No TDs. Walters is not making strides if you were implying that.

I would say pull the trigger. But of course, this will probably never happen, so the point is moot.

NO DEAL

When Culpepper is healthy, he's better than anything we'll get in the second round.

These ideas are getting ridiculously old. Let the man actully play a healthy game. For the love of god, you gave him a quarter of a season on a gimp knee.

Yep. Don't like it at all, but that is fact.
Why would Ginn be there in the second round?
More importantly, why is Troy Smith now a top 5 pick?

and NO DEAL... Culpepper will be a different qb when he is healthy and does deserve to prove himself. People need to stop jumping the gun and lobbying to get rid of anyone that makes a mistake just for the heck of it.

And with the same OL we have do you know what we will get? The same result we have this year. It's time to finally focus on rebuilding the line. You can't compete in the NFL without one and we've avoided it way too long.
