Who saw that coming? Apparently he was the victim of an attempted extortion.

Wow everyone thought he was the biggest idiot ever.....still might be.....but he’s free to resume his NFL career.
 
I think 'cleared' might be overstating it.

The problem with the case is that his victims were criminals too... they turned around and tried to extort from him. This makes the case very murky and most prosecutors will drop that case like a hot rock.

The NFL will be much more leery of just walking away from this.

Yeah, they tried to blackmail him and somehow got caught. He got lucky.

I don't think he's free from an NFL suspension just yet.

Yes, I hate the fact that teams are so willing to let this guy back in, but I just don't think he's going to escape NFL sanctions now that he is signed.
 
His case was thrown out. We don’t know the whole story. I don’t know if he is a criminal or a victim or both.

They dropped the case because the "victims" were as lacking in morality as he. With them as witnesses, they had no chance at a conviction.
 
Keep in mind... they were ALL at an illegal high stakes poker game. That alone... is a problem.
