Am I crazy here or is this one of the free agents that actually help solve a problem?
 
Lions released Deandre Levy

Uh if he's healthy he needs to be reunited with Suh ASAP. only 29, he's one of the better linebackers in football. yes he's a better option than Timmons. call his agent up asap.
 
Yeah he's a good fit, just hasn't been able to get on the field for 2 years that's scary

barely beat my thread...the answer is YES. sign him (obviously he needs to pass the physical)
 
I just made a similar post. Im not a guy who wants to sign every guy who gets cut but this solves a problem immediately and solves it well

He's been in the league like 8 years now and has been hurt for the past 2 years I think, if the Dolphins can cut Isa Abdul Quddus because he failed a physical, I just can't see them picking up Levy.
 
why not...bring every trash lb around so we can skip it in the draft
 
I'm for it, kick the tires. One less hole potentially to fill, besides ST need LB's and CB/S types all day.

Yeah.....but you don't want to fill a hole for filling a hole sake, you want the best player at the right price in FA and not one who is consistently hurt.
 
Excuse my ignorance, I don't watch a lot of Detroit Lions football, but specifically what LB role does Levy play? Is he versatile enough to play more than a single LB role?
