Deanglo off the market

It's important to give Newton a strong running game, so I can kind of excuse them for overspending on Williams. They have to give him every opportunity to develop.

Well they have agreed to terms, he hasnt signed. And for that price tag hell no tyvm. That is like a OH GOODNESS PLEASE DONT LEAVE US kinda price tag.

Cuts arent over and others still have agreed to terms there are plenty of RB's out there.

Who?? Indy is making Addai a priority signing. I can't imagine what kind of money Bradshaw is going to want now. He is younger than DeAngelo.

Jerious Norwood?? Remeber, we have a couple big guys in Thomas and Hilliard. We need a speed guy who can block on third down. Sproles is just too little IMO.

Who??

True, but they already had Stewart . . . like somebody else said, I would have tried to go after a big target for Newton ala Sydney Rice over resigning Deangelo . . . but I can't be mad at them, he is a real good RB.

god...and i thought 5 years $35 mil would be his ceiling...$43 mil...yowzers...glad we didn't do that

Assuming Stewart stays healthy, I would agree. They can still go after S. Rice, but I doubt he'd go to Carolina. WR's don't like to hang their futures on rookie QB's.

I honestly hope we don't spend that kind of money on Bradshaw. I like him but that is craziness. Get another guy, damn Ronnie and then go get a scatback. That is too much coin in this day and age for a rb

basically a little more than the contract that ronnie got as a rookie so who knows at least he showed he could play before he got it.
