To say Ty is an upgrade goes w/o saying but he made it seem like anyone would have been an upgrade over what we had which is not true. Donnie Abe was good last year and we have 2 2nd rd picks in Justin Miller & Derrick Strait who have impressed and had a vet in ray Mickens. We would have been ok at LCB w/o Law but obviously we are much better w/ him.

ty law is washed up that's why the pats said bye bye to him.screw all jet fans your all scum anyway!

Actually, Law fell victim to the cap in New England...yeah sure the injury may have been part of why NE didnt resign him, but he must be healthy now because the Jets signed him and the Lions wanted. Hate to see you be the general manager of a real football team

Your wrong. Law was released for his injury and b/c he was beaten quite a bit last season. BB would have found a way to fit him under the cap if he thought he was the same player he was. He's smarter than that. To let a pro-bowl corner go w/o a fight is idiotic especially to a rival, unless there is something wrong. BB never even thought of resigning him and he was loved in New England. He knows something the Jets don't.

NO guaranteed money, he only sees big money if he performs so I hope he sees big money.

Beaten quite a bit? He barely played last year. The Pats WANTED him back, BB spoke about it in recent weeks how he touched base w/ Ty about coming back.

You honestly think BB knows what the hell he is doing without his left-side and right-side of testis(weis and the other guy)??? I can gurantee that there was talks behind closed doors about a paycut or something along the lines.

Odd how they lost Law and bring in all those highpriced FAs ain't it? Lay had problems with BB last offseason anyways...

i was not talking about last years CBs when saying law is an upgrade. i was talking about the CBs currently on the roster. and who would be starting if yall did not sign law.

Miller, Strait, and Mickens are not THAT good. and last i checked Donnie Abe isnt on your team anymore. so IMO, your CB position was a weakness, untill signing Law.

You do know that even Ricky stated that the money he owes played a hand in him coming back, so he is here due to that. If Ricky becomes his old form, he will be wanting money, so what would the point of paying Ronnie all this money be?

Ricky will be here 2-3seasons at that is it. Traded or retired or released, or whatever, he is gone.

You sound like a talking head /Al MIcheals. Take what you want from the interview. RW did not say it had anything to do w/ it. Al said clearly it did! Did not hear that one. He said he can't really say it did or it didn't. He said he missed football. He saaid he is here to play w/ passion, to be better than in the past. He said he could play for 6-8 years not even he knows his future, injuries and all that. We need to let go of our hate and open our ears. If he does an incentive based contract, anybody can afford him.

Not trying to attack, but that is the fact. I do however believe he will only play 2-3 years also. He want's to be able to walk when he is done.

i thaught it was garanteed 23 mil over 3 years. and the rest is not garanteed.

How do you know Miller & Strait are not that good? Miller has had a very good camp and I think would have been fine being thrown into the fire. Starit is going to be our nickel back and we cut Mickens who was one of the game's best nickel backs. Mickens has always fared well as a starter they just never liked his size but whenever in the starting lineup he did a good job. he would have been fine as our LCB.

Did you not hear Ricky speak when he gave his apology speech to the media??? He said it did weigh in on his return.

i didnt know you cut Mickens. so thats another player you dont have.
if you didnt sign Law, you whould have started Miller and Starit (sp?). you might have high hopes for those guys, but IMO, they are not in the same league as Law. and probubly would have been the "weakest link" for your D.
