Dear Mr. Ross,

I have been an avid fan of the Miami Dolphins since I have been 7 years old, I am now 45. I have been through different owners, multiple coaches, and quarterbacks. The days of being proud are long gone.

My wife wants to thank both you and the coaching staff for giving her, her husband back on Sunday’s. I guess I want to thank you as well,as I will no longer have to come up with excuses on said Sunday’s.

The product that you and the coaches have put on the field for us fans for the past few years has been a joke. Every year it is the same, hyped up in offseason, only to be let down when it matters.

I will always be a fan, however I will no longer give you my money for any related Dolphin’s products, nor will I give my time on Sunday for the human fecal matter you have allowed to be produced.

Until you make some drastic changes or hopefully sell the team this will remain my stance.

Sincerely,
Embarrassed Dolphin Fan.

The amusing thing to me is that Ross will receive actual letters like this. Deservedly so.

When fans don't show up and don't watch the games on TV, Ross will eventually be forced to sell.

Instead of the banner everyone keeps clamoring for, we should do a nice FAN LETTER to the DOLPHINS OWNERSHIP on the Miami Herald or something. Maybe a full page ad or something lol.

Dear Embarrassed Dolphin Fan,

I dont care what you think, nor do I need your measly money. I am a billionaire.

Sincerely,
Mr. Ross.

jk, but really how can he not know Philbin and Coyle need to go. He will do it late in the season when its too late. Prepare for another long offseason. We are wasting a decent QB entering his prime.

For all the flak I give him, I do think Ross wants to win. He just doesn't know how and can't seem to get out of his own way. Armando's blog about the forced shotgun marriages was dead-on.

The thing about firing a coach mid season is that any new prospective coach choices will not want to be treated the same way if they too fail.

On the other hand, firing Philbin mid or early season, allows those prospective coaches to prepare themselves for interviews and who they'd want on their staff. Also, it lets the Grudens out there start thinking of the possibilities and the power they'd want in the FO structure.

I'd just soon rid Miami of this dolt sooner than later.

Sons of Shula, your turn. lol

Try this letter instead

Dear Stephen Ross Pilots,

Please take one for the franchise and ditch your Gulfstream Jet in the North Atlantic on the way to London. You, and your First Officer can dawn your survival suits exit your escape hatch then float in your life raft till rescue. Everything including Ross, Apante, Hickey, Tannebaum, and the evidence sinks to bottom of the sea.

Sincerely,
Miami Dolphins Fanbase

IMO the IMMEDIATE thing that needs to happen is Coyle being fired.

Firing Philbin today just means that someone on staff will have to step in and intern, and there's no one on this staff that I would want in that position. Maybe in firing Coyle and telling Philbin "get your ass together or you're next" will at least help make the rest of the year less embarrassing.

So, fire Coyle now, and fire Philbin and the rest of the coaching staff at the end of the year.

I think coyle gets let go after thia weekends game when the jets run for 150 on us and fitzpatrick looks like peyton manning in his prime
