There's a difference in hating the person and hating the act. Ricky abanadoned the team to experience what he felt he needed to personally explore. Most of us didn't like what Ricky did but never hated Ricky as a person.
As many of you did, I cheered the team effort that got us into position to score. Ricky played a huge part of that effort and did so as a member of the team.

You see, it's come full circle. The act is not there to hate. He's back.

To those who hate the man....get over it. ;)

i don't really care who scores a TD for the dolphins, as long as he does....man even if hitler had a nice catch in the corner of the endzone i'd be like "eh...people overrate how bad of a guy he is. GO PHINS!"

well said. This thread is actually smack and does not belong here. It's only purpose was to demean those who did not want him back.
 
You'd probably classify me as a "hater." I do hope however, that he has a great year and restores his market value. That way he is the best trade bait to move us up in the draft. Why should we do that. Because that is the best way to make our team better for the future. We need to get a top notch QB. We know already that we can't count on Ricky given his past. We need people we can count on to be cornerstones of the team.

I hope Ricky runs for 1,000 yards this year. I want him to bring back the desire that he had when he ran for 1,800 yards. Everyone who watch that season could see the tremendous talent that he was/is. I will always cheer for Ricky.
 
I was very upset at the boos ricky got..he is part of this team we all love..has faced up to what he has done, worked hard, has not shot off his mouth, and is doing his talking on the field..wasnt it strange..that randy mac got such an ovation right after booing ricky..go figure

Not demean...just rub it in a little. :D (tongue in cheek) It was started in fun, nothing more nothing less. This is just a message board for FUN. I thought I would lighten up the "Ricky" threads. Although if I made fun of his world escapades or maybe made a funny little comment about pot then it would have been better received. Just relax.

IMO, Ricky got what he deserved. I've never hid my opinion of him from anyone on this board since I heard he was coming back. There are people on this message board (me included) who don't like what he did and will never "get over it." That said, there are also people on this board who support him completely such as you. Let's stop the comparisons between what he and what McMike did. (And I'm not saying what Randy did was right). The two sides will never agree so they should agree to disagree and move on.
 
F' Ricky!

In a week he starts his one month vacation away from the team and facilities. Wonder where he will go? Fiji? Aruba? China?
 
I've seen what this team can do without Ricky, and it was ugly. You better believe I cheered for Ricky's TD. It's gonna be a long 4 weeks.
