Obviously it wasn't enough to remove some of the utter stupidity that still lingers:

For the record, I'm a huge Landry fan, but the player comparison along with the foolish narrative that we need to get someone more involved who had 166 targets last year is somewhat alarming.

Haha. Yeah those are some quirky comments.
I think with Franks he meant he'd rather get more FG attempt's than punts; maybe work on building his long-range efficiency, or just efficiency overall.

Getting Landry more involved doesn't mean throw him 6 or more passes behind the LOS per game next year.

Get him more involved by running more intermediate routes, let him use his ability to make plays all over the field. I've always compared him to Brown too, almost identical as players. Pittsburgh throws him deeper passes all over the field and moves him around.

All this is talk, Parker is the alpha and the whole team will find out quick.

It is a very solid staff. Time to improve the roster.

Rizzi is terrible but but when he talks about being "more involved" I'm pretty sure he's defending the decision to keep Landry on kick return duty pointing out that other teams have no problem "risking" their top wide receiver.

a fieldgoal is better than a punt.

This thread is being weird, why is this quoted?

I do NOT see Parker as the apha, especially over Landry. Not even close.

Why? He's the most talented WR Miami has and the last 6 weeks proved it.

Landry is phenomenal, but Parker is the #1 guy who will be seeing the teams best week in and week out.

Parker has size, speed, and the skill set to, either get quick pass within 2 yards of the line of scrimmage for 10+ yards, to taking the defender deep for 30+ yards, to beating coverage deep for a TD, to finally inside the redzone going up for a pass, and coming down with it.

Love Landry, but the type of WR Parker can be, and actually has already started looking like, could be mindblowing.

Parker will never be Landry in terms of fire. Landry's fore is elite and rare, but Parker can be a top 5 WR in the NFL of his foot holds up.

Which works out for Landry just fine. Makes his job even easier and he will be even better with Parker being the focus. He's gonna flourish even more now

This I agree with, as far as fire, nobody on the team is going to match Landry, and Landry is going to get far more Targets/Receptions because how much easier and quicker he will get open, but on the other hand, Parker will end up with more TDs, Yards, and yard per catch.

Parker will become the flashier receiver, and the one fans, commutators, and coaches will talk most about. What people tend to forget, Parker just like Landry, will rarely drop passes, and can make ridiculous catches that you will need to look at 20 times to figure out how he made it.

Truly, it's good to be an optimist. And I would like to believe we now have a "very solid staff."

BUT let's be real! Gase has proven NOTHING at the NFL HC level. Beyond that -- there are legit questions regarding a number of others on the staff -- specifically how they can perform at a newly promoted level.

I think we have seen the Peter Principal in full bloom with this franchise before under Ross -- so before we certify the coaching staff as "very solid" let's see exactly what they produce on the field.

Until then -- they are at least somewhat "suspect" IMO.
